    There are many casts in Kalsanwala. Kalas (Awan) is the largest family or cast in Kalsanwala. Syed, Watoo, Kalyar, Kumhar, Araaen, Muslim Shiekh,tarkhaan etc. reside in the village.

    Village has one Govt Primary School and One Jamia Masjid.Muhammad Akmal Shah teaching in this school and other teachers from village like Nisar Awan and Asad Nawab or teaching in other villages. Imam Masjid of village is Syed Mazher ullah shah.

    70 percent people are well educated. most literate and educated family is Syed Family. Awans are also educated.

    Mostly people of village attached with agriculture.some people are serving in Pak Army, Police, Health and other govt departmets. There are many karyana shops in village and one Wellding and harware store owned by Azizzullah mistri. A few people working as laborers in Surroundings.

    Overall kalsanwala is a good village of Saraeki belt in Tehsil Jaranwala
