Political career
Being known for his charity and MR. clean image in the society, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has invited him to congress party and given medak MP Seat in 2009. He defeated by vijayashanti with 6000 votes. Now he is contesting from BJP, Other members fighting against him in the Medak constituency include K. Chandrashekar Rao, Dr.P. Shravan Kumar Reddy (INC).
