History

Central Security Group was co-founded in 1999 by Mark Wilson and Harry Schenk, who teamed with Stolberg, Meehan & Scano. That same year, Central Security Group purchased the base of Guardian Security Systems. Prior to Central Security Group, Wilson and Schenk ran Multimedia Security Service, an alarm monitoring company that was sold to Protection One in 1998.

  • In February 2005, Pinnacle CEO Recruiters, Inc. announced that it had sourced an alarm monitoring acquisition of Central Security Group, Inc., for Great Hill Partners.
  • In September 2009, Central Security Group Holdings Inc raised $10,000,000.

    Services related to these systems include alarm monitoring and installation, upgrading from 2g alarm cellular technology, remote access, a mobile app, severe weather alerts, two-way voice, water detection, smoke, heat, and carbon dioxide detection, and video monitoring.

    Home Automation and Energy Management Services

    Central Security Group provides home automation solutions that allow customers to automate lights, locks and thermostats and to use a smartphone to control appliances, entertainment systems, lights, locks, garage doors and their security systems.
