History

Central Security Group was co-founded in 1999 by Mark Wilson and Harry Schenk, who teamed with Stolberg, Meehan & Scano. That same year, Central Security Group purchased the base of Guardian Security Systems. Prior to Central Security Group, Wilson and Schenk ran Multimedia Security Service, an alarm monitoring company that was sold to Protection One in 1998.

  • In February 2005, Pinnacle CEO Recruiters, Inc. announced that it had sourced an alarm monitoring acquisition of Central Security Group, Inc., for Great Hill Partners.
  • In September 2009, Central Security Group Holdings Inc raised $10,000,000.
