The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture Pasacao Campus (CBSUA-Pasacao) is a state-run university offering tertiary education in Pasacao, Camarines Sur near Naga city. It is headed by a Campus Administrator and has two departments: the Department of Academic Affairs and the Department of Research, Extension and Production which are headed by a Department Chairperson.

Established indirectly by virtue of RA 8760 otherwise known as the integration of CHED-Supervised Institutions to State Universities and Colleges, when Camarines Sur Institute of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (CASIFMAS), a CHED supervised school was integrated to TESDA and its tertiary program was aborted by the nearest SUC;CSSAC-Pili, Camarines Sur.

CBSUA-Pasacao Campus former Camarines Sur State Agricultural College Pasacao Extension Campus (CSSSAC-PEC) is located in Sta. Rosa del Norte, Pasacao, Camarines Sur, about 25 kilometers or 15.4 miles south bound of Naga city with coordinates of 13°30' North latitude and 123°02' East longitude. This school is accessible to people living in Pasacao, coastal town of Libmanan and San fernando, Pamplona and Burias Island.

The school was started on June 10, 2002, upon abortion of the tertiary program of CASIFMAS by CSSAC and the approval of 16 permanent teaching positions who propel the continuing program of tertiary education of Pasacao.

The school started its operation from its temporary venue in the second floor of Andaya Public Market of Pasacao until about the year 2007. On the part of year 2007, the school was transferred to its permanent 4.5 hectares of land erected with two school building with three rooms each and four-room building made of light materials. Course offerings were bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, Bachelor in Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English and Mathematics, Biological Science and Physical Science.

The school was administered first by campus Administrator Dr. Norma R. Galang, followed by Dr. Ramon C. Arimado sometime in 2014, then by Prof. Simeon B. Botor. In later Part of 2004, Mr. Roger Dequilla was Designated as Campus Head until April 2010. A portion of 2009 was administered by Mr. Stimson T. Camano as OIC. From May, 2010 to present, the school is administered by the campus Administrator, Dr. Melquiades N. Pana.

The school Operated under the umbrella of the institute of Development Education from 2002 to 2010, whose primary goal is to produce teachers and extension agents who are experts on Instructional management in agriculture and industrial development.

Until October 12, 2009 the entire CSSAC was converted to Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, this extension campus was then approved by the Board of Regents.

From then on, many changes had come about in the campus. From May 2010 under the management of a new leader and under a university status, the school is experiencing and abrupt development in terms of governance, instruction, research and extension.

For just two years of rapid change in terms of management, the school has now a new spacious library, a new three-room building, additional facilities and created items for permanent teachers and office personnel to propel the school effectively.

The school is now envisioning another milestone in the future to uphold the delivery of basic services which will benefit the studentry and the community as a whole. The school is now planning on offering new courses, Bachelor of Science in criminology (BS Criminology)and Bachelor of Science in Agri-Ecotourism Management and Bachelor of Science in Coastal Resource Management.

CBSUA-Pasacao Campus is on its way of maximizing its capability to produce competent, productive and high caliber individuals by following the entire CBSUA Vision, Mission and Goals.

Its commitment is to work hand in hand with the main campus of aiming for being a high standard institutions through quality programs based on higher passing percentage in competitive board examinations and on greater employability of graduates.
