Cavalry Tank Museum was established by the Armored Corps Centre and School, Ahmednagar in February 1994. It is the only museum of its kind in Asia and houses about 50 exhibits of vintage armored fighting vehicles.

The oldest exhibit is the silver Ghost Rolls-Royce Armoured Car. The older exhibits date to First World War vintage and served on the battlefields of Cambrian Somme and Flanders. A large number of vehicles are from Second World War period.

Among the exhibits are a British Valentine,2 Churchill Mk VII, Matilda, Japanese Type 95 Ha-Go and Type 97 Chi-Ha, Sherman Crab flail tank, Centurion Mark II, German Schwerer Panzerspähwagen and the pride of India: Vijayanta.

Also on display are Tank Destroyer Archer based on a Valentine, Sexton SPG, M3 Stuart, M22 Locust, Grant(M3 Lee) and various armored cars from different era.

A Flak 8.8 captured from Germans possibly belonging to the 15th Panzer Division, Afrika Korps based on the divisional markings on the display piece.

There are some trophy tanks from the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965 like American made M47 Patton, Chafee and Walker BullDog. On display is also an Indian Amx-13 of french origin and a PT 76 Amphibious Light Tank from that period.

In the Memory hill house souvenirs of all regiments of the Armored Corps are kept. Museum remains open on all days form 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is an entry fee of Rs. 10/- per person witch additional fees for photography.
