Councillor The Honourable Catriona Bhatia (nee Steel; born the Scottish Borders) is a Liberal Democrat politician in Scotland. She has been a councillor in the Scottish Borders council since 2003 where she is the deputy leader of the Liberal Democrat group.
She is married to Rajiv Bhatia, a director of a whisky company. They have four children. She is the daughter of former Liberal leader, Lord Steel, and his wife Judy.
Political career
Bhatia was formerly an Executive Member for Education. Bhatia was the Liberal Democrat candidate for Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale at the 2010 General Election.
