Just like Animal Crossing, Castaway Paradise follows the player helping the animals getting the island into a better shape. The game also has other things that you can do such as catching bugs, fish. Players are also able to grow their own plants, decorate the island and decide what your character wears. There are also events on specific days, and holidays.
