Carter Hart (born August 13, 1998) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender, currently playing junior hockey for the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League. He was selected in the second round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers, the 48th overall pick of the draft and the first goaltender selected in that year.

Playing career
In Hart's first career start, the 2014–15 WHL season opener at the age of 16, he recorded a 26-save shutout win over the Seattle Thunderbirds. Hart finished his rookie season with a 18-5-2-3 record, a 2.29 goals against average and a .915 save percentage.
Hart was part of the gold-medal winning Canadian team at the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
Hart was considered one of the top goaltender prospects in the 2016 National Hockey League Draft. NHL Central Scouting named him the top available North American goaltender in their 2016 midterm rankings. He was named the CHL Goaltender of the Year for 2016 on May 28, 2016. He finished the year as the 2nd ranked North American goaltender in the NHL Central Scouting final rankings.
He was selected 48th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry draft, the first goaltender selected in 2016.
Hart was selected to goaltend for Canada at the 2017 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, winning silver.
