CarPrice Limited is an international company, the leading online used car broker and auctioneer headquartered in Moscow, Russia. It has branches in 15 large Russian cities, such as Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Voronezh, and other. CarPrice is similar to We Buy Any Car (UK), Manheim Auctions (USA), WirKaufenDeinAuto (Germany) and Youxinpai (China).

The company was founded in 2014 by Eduard Gurinovich and Oskar Hartmann. In 2015 CarPrice was mentioned as one of the most hottest European startups in rating by Wired UK. In February 2016 company has opened representative office in Japan.
Principle of operation
The CarPrice's business model for individuals consists of three steps:
- Free valuation of the car on website. CarPrice's online calculator estimates the approximate value of used car which is based on car parameters (model year, mileage, equipment and etc.) and relevant data (ended auctions and currend market conditions).
- Scheduling an appointment at the inspection center.
- Placing the car into online auction, which lasts 30 minutes. If the client is satisfied with the final bid, he can immediately sell his car and receive cash.
If the client agrees to sell the car CarPrice delivers it to the dealer who won the auction.
Investments
By now CarPrice has received $46 million having closed 3 investment rounds. Funding rounds according to public information on the company's website and Mass media were closed by Russian and European venture funds, such as Baring Vostok Capital Partners, E.ventures and others. According to media reports, this deal was the largest investment in the Russian technology start-up since the beginning of economical and financial crisis in 2014. CarPrice has won in the nomination "Deal of the Year" by Venture Awards Russia 2015.
