Carparachne is a genus of huntsman spiders found in Namibia. The genus was first described by Reginald Frederick Lawrence in 1962.
The Golden wheel spider, C. aureoflava, is special in using cartwheeling as a means of locomotion on a hot, sandy ground, similar to the related Cebrennus rechenbergi, which uses a flic-flac motion.
