Caroline /ˈkærəln/ is a village in central Alberta, Canada. It is located southwest of Red Deer.

The community is named after Caroline Langley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Langley. The family opened the community's original post office in 1908.

Demographics

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Village of Caroline recorded a population of 512 living in 233 of its 259 total private dwellings, a 7000220000000000000♠2.2% change from its 2011 population of 501. In 2006, Caroline had a population of 515 living in 235 dwellings, a 7.4% decrease from 2001. The village has a land area of 1.98 square kilometres (0.76 sq mi) and a population density of 259.8 inhabitants per square kilometre (673/sq mi).
