The Carlos Pereyra School ("Escuela Carlos Pereyra" in Spanish) is a school founded by the Society of Jesus in La Laguna region of Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, in 1942. It includes grades from preschool to high school.

History
The members of the National Union of Catholic Students (UNEC) with the assistance of Fr. Leobardo Fernández, S.J., ("Uncle Leo") launched the school with help from the Bank of Mexico. It was affiliated with the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and named after Carlos Pereyra a historian and diplomat, and native of Saltillo, Coahuila. High school classes began in law and social sciences, in physics and chemistry, and in physics and mathematics. It opened in a leased section of the Venustiano Carranza State High School. The next year it operated out of a house at 406 Ave. Morelos, east of the Torreon. The school's motto is "Praise for the Struggle" and its shield goes back to Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits.
Vision
The school belongs to the Latin American Federation of Jesuit Colleges (FLACSI). Its vision is to implement the words of the Jesuit superior Pedro Arrupe: "The students we intend to train are men and women for others, new people, open to their time and into the future, balanced and consistent, sensitive to all that is human.
Programs
Workshops are conducted in support of teachers and parents. Health Week includes conferences, exhibits, and workshops. Spiritual formation is fostered through the programs Encounters with Christ, the Ignatian Week, liturgies, and service opportunities.
Sports
Facilities include two synthetic grass courts with covered stands for soccer and a natural grass field for the girls. There are two indoor basketball courts, as well as facilities for tennis, volleyball, and track and field. The Jesuit high schools in Mexico have an annual sports competition that rotates among the schools.
Languages
Courses in English are required from preschool and students in middle and high school are divided into three levels according to their proficiency in English. TOEFL ITP is used to test students' English proficiency before graduation. Basic knowledge of French as a third language is offered for those proficient in English.
Robotics
Since 2013, the school has had a robotics team, called Lobotics 5312, which participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
