The Carl-Benz-Stadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Mannheim, Germany. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of SV Waldhof Mannheim. In 2008, it also hosted TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the first half of that club's first season in the Fußball-Bundesliga, until Hoffenheim's new stadium opened in January 2009. The stadium is able to hold 27,000 people and was built in 1994. It has floodlight, but no Under-soil heating. The architect was Folker Fiebiger.
