The Carbon Monoxide All Fuels Action Forum (COAFAF) is an industry-led forum and campaign group comprising various individuals, organisations, charities and policy makers working to reduce death by carbon monoxide poisoning in the UK. The group acts as a sister group to the All-Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group (APPCOG), an official all-party parliamentary group of the UK Parliament.

Contents

The Carbon Monoxide All Fuels Action Forum is chaired by Steve Miller, President of the London region at the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.

Its secretariat services are provided by Policy Connect, an independent, not-for-profit think tank based in London.

Mission

The COAFAF was launched in October 2012, following a recommendation contained in Preventing Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, a report by the All-Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group. The report, which followed a six-month inquiry chaired by Baroness Finlay of Llandaff, called for a new industry-led group to sit in parallel with the parliamentary group, to help aid collaboration and coordinate campaigning efforts among major companies, charities and policy makers working to tackle carbon monoxide poisoning.

Steering Group

The COAFAF is guided by a steering group, comprising representatives from relevant organisations
