The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) is a minor hockey and Hockey Canada sanctioned league based in Western Canada and the United States.

Contents

The CSSHL was founded in 2009 with five "Sport Schools" based in Alberta and British Columbia. The CSSHL was specifically designed to enable like-minded players an increased level of competition and exposure.

Today, the CSSHL currently has grown to over 50 teams from 19 different "Sport Schools" spread across seven divisions: Midget Prep, Midget Varsity, Elite 15s, Bantam Prep, Bantam Varsity, Female Prep and Female Varsity. Over 400 CSSHL alumni have gone on to play Junior 'A' or Major Junior hockey.

History

Founded in 2009, the five original members of the CSSHL were the Banff Hockey Academy, Edge School for Athletes, Okanagan Hockey Academy, Pursuit of Excellence and the Swiss International Sports & Education Centre.
