Highlights of Camp Jaycee
Camp Jaycee offers many different activities to campers, such as, field trips, crafts, dance, singing, acting, sports, instructional and recreational swimming and counselor and leadership in training programs. Although Camp Jaycee is open to all campers, there are a few Jewish elements in the camp: the Schlihim and Shabbat. Each year, three Shlichim (counselors) from Israel join the camp as the Judaica specialists. They share a taste of Israel with the campers through music, dance, customs, and Hebrew. Every afternoon Friday ends with a camp-wide celebration of Shabbat, this includes singing and dancing and a screening of a slideshow photo montage of pictures from the week of camp. Focuses on sports, science, computers, and performing arts.Teen Camps: Grades 6-11
