After competing in the 2007 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, Beaubier was selected to join the Red Bull MotoGP Academy; in 2008 he raced in the 125cc Spanish CEV Championship and in 2009 he had a full season in the 125cc World Championship. He then returned to America, where he contested the AMA Supersport East Championship in 2010 and the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Championship from 2011 to 2013, where he won the title and the Daytona 200 race. Since 2014, Beaubier has competed in the AMA Superbike Championship, winning the championship in both 2015 and 2016 with the new series promoter, Wayne Rainey, and Dorna's MotoAmerica organisation.
