Cameraria niphonica is a moth of the Gracillariidae family. It is known from Japan (the islands of Hokkaido and Kyushu) and the Russian Far East

The wingspan is 6–8 mm.

The larvae feed on Acer palmatum and Acer japonicum. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine consists of a blotch which is entirely flat and located on the upper surface of the leaf. The cocoon is white, ellipsoidal and placed in the centre of the mine-cavity.
