Calosoma splendidum is a species of ground beetle in the subfamily of Carabinae. It was described by Dejean in 1831 and is found on Bahamas, Santo Domingo and capital of Haiti Port au Prince. It was also recorded from Guantánamo, Cuba, Floridian cities such as Chokoloskee, Deltona, and Key West. Besides Caribbean and Florida it was recorded from Clarke County, Georgia, Texas, and even Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico. The species is 22–25 millimetres (0.87–0.98 in) long and have shiny green coloured top and black legs.
