Caitlin Linney (born Jan. 5, 1989, in Durham, NC), known professionally as Linney, is an American singer and songwriter. Her career began in 2011 with a kickstarter campaign.

Since then, she has written and performed multiple songs. She’s also won several awards. Her first award was for “best song” at the 28th Annual EVVY Awards. Recently, in 2016, she won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for “Coming Back for More,” which led to a performance on the Main Stage at NAMM at the Anaheim Convention Center on Jan. 23, 2016.

Her recent single, “That Night,” which is on her “Things We Say” EP, has been streamed more than 600,000 times on Spotify. Her songs have appeared on many playlists: Enhanced "Ibiza 2016," Spotify “Young & Free” and Spotify “New Music Friday."
