Cadet College Pishin is a Cadet College located in the City of Pishin in Balochistan. It is operated by the Pakistan Army Retired Colonel and feeds the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul.

History

Cadet College Pishin was inaugurated on 31 March 2008 by the Colonel Syed Iftikhar Ahmed(TI Military) at Cadet College Mastung. Officially the Charge of Cadet College Pishin was handed over to its 1st Principal Prof. Nasim Ahmad on 6 March 2009 who inducted the 2nd intake of 30 students and the new staff. Staff and Stuff of both the Colleges Cadet College Killasaifulla Nasae and Pishin were shifted to Cadet College Killasaifulla Nasae campus for commencement of new session on 17 April 2010 for one year. Cadet College, Pishin has already commenced training activities in the home district of Pishin. The government had handed over the building of Afghan Education Complex for Afghan Refugees in pishin district to the Cadet College for this purpose in the beginning of 2010. Cadet College Pishin is located on the Pishin Road which leads to Quetta in the south and Pishin in the north. It is 58 km from Quetta and 8 km from Pishin. It is spread over an area of about 168 acres. Initially the classes were started in Cadet College Mastung. Later both Cadet College Pishin and Cadet College Killasaifullah were managed at Killa Saifullah. However in March 2010 Cadet College Pishin was finally shifted to the present. Presently “Alhamd o Lillah” the Cadet College Pishin is now progressing to a bright future.

Cadet College Pishin is located in district Pishin; on Pishin Khanozai road (Surkhab Camp Road).It is at a distance of 58.6 km from Quetta (Capital of Balochistan) and 6.5 km from Pishin. It covers an area of 126 acres (0.51 km2).Map on Google

Academics

Up to Secondary Level, the College provides uniform science education, the medium of instruction being English. At Higher Secondary Level the students are offered the following combinations, in addition to compulsory subjects:

  • Pre-Engineering: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
  • Pre-Medical: Physics, Chemistry and Biology

    When the pioneer batch appeared in SSC-I exam held under BISE QTA, the college got the second position among all institutions of Balochistan. Since then, it has maintained its position and even improving it.

    Cadet life

    The students are called cadets. Cadets take part in sports such as cricket, football, volleyball. Personal fitness activities include Practical Training and running. Physical training (PT) is conducted in the morning and sports in the evening.Cadets are taught drill in 7th class.

    Admissions

    Admission in this College is done only once in a year in Class VII. Application are invited till 2nd Last Week of December every year.

    Class 7th Admissions:

    An open competitive examinatioin through NTS comprising One paper (Mathematics, English, G. Science and Urdu-Islamiyat etc.) get held in the month of January every year. The Course for the paper is of 6th Class.

    Fee Structure:

    Fee per Annum is Rs. 50,000/- (This is to be paid into Two Installments in March and August every year @Rs. 25,000/- each installment). Cadets attending appearing in Sam-in-man will pay January - July.

    The College is subdivided into 2 wings.

    Cadet Captain

    Cadet Ameer Ali was the Cadet Captain for first five years of College.After his resignation, now Cadet Qaisar Khan is selected as new Cadet Captain of the College.
