Rapid CFR Bucureşti is a women's handball club from Bucureşti, Romania, which used to play in the Romanian First League. Rapid was one of the leading European teams in 1960s, winning the 1964 European Cup in addition to four Romanian leagues. However, it declined in subsequent years.
In the first half of the 2000s the team enjoyed a revival, winning the 2000 EHF City Cup, its fifth championship (2003) and its first national cup (2004), and reaching the quarter-finals of the EHF Cup (2004) and the Cup Winners' Cup (2005). However, in 2010 it was relegated.
