History
In 2001, CITIC Pacific acquired the PSINet HK. In the next year, the company was renamed to CPCNet and launched the IP Networking services.
In 2006, the company launched the information security services.
In 2010, CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited acquired China Enterprise ICT Solutions Limited through CPCNet.
In 2011, CPCNet was renamed to CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited. In the same year, they launched cloud computing solutions.
In 2012, the company launched the first cloud service center in Taiwan and Singapore. In the same year, the company first partnered with Veeam for their Cloud to Cloud Backup & Replication solution.
In 2013, the company launched the 7th cloud service center in Beijing. Launched an expanded Singapore office and new service operating presence in Malaysia to support continued ASEAN growth.
In 2014, the company launched DataHOUSE at Ap Lei Chau Cloud Data Center in Hong Kong and BaoShan Cloud Data Center in Shanghai. In the same year, the company partnered with Imperva to launch the Managed Web Application Security solution.
In 2015, the company launched Cloud Desktop service – Hong Kong’s first VMware powered Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) Solution. In the same year, the company first deployed Veeam Cloud Connect in Asia Pacific and also enhanced the cloud backup solution with Virtual to Cloud offsite backups and replication capabilities.
In 2016, CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited acquired telecommunication business of Linx Telecommunications to boost network service coverage in Central & Eastern Europe. In the same year, the company became Fortinet’s first Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) partner in Asia Pacific and also launched a new Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) service.
