CE-Learning is the e-learning product line of C&E Publishing, Inc., an academic publisher based in the Philippines. It aims to provide Filipino students, teachers, and school administrators with e-learning materials that address the integration of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in the classroom.

Filipino Classics

CE-Learning's Filipino Classics are interactive multimedia e-lessons of four popular novels in Philippine literature.

  • Ibong Adarna tells the story of Prince Juan, Prince Diego, and Prince Pedro's quest for a mythical bird whose magical singing is believed to be the only cure for the King of Berbania's inexplicable illness.
  • Florante at Laura is the master piece of Francisco "Balagtas" Baltazar. This epic unveils the love story of two people in the midst of the Christian-Muslim crusade.
  • Noli Me Tangere (novel) is written by the Philippine national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. This master piece discusses the worsening situation of the Philippines under the Spanish rule through the novel's protagonist Crisostomo Ibarra.
  • El Filibusterismo is Dr. Jose Rizal's sequel to his earlier work Noli Me Tangere. The protagonist Crisostomo Ibarra returns as the rich jeweler named Simoun.
  • Key Features

  • A content map that lists all the chapters in the e-lesson.
  • A list of the major characters in the story, a short description about them, and their important or memorable lines.
  • Navigation and function buttons such as Mga Eksena (Scenes), Panimula (Home), Nauna (Previous), Ulitin (Repeat), Nilalaman (Content Map), Kasunod (Next), Ikubli ang Teksto (Hide Text), and Bolyum (Volume).
  • Difficult words are highlighted. Pointing the cursor to these highlighted words reveals their definition. Pointing the cursor to the characters in the story also reveals the name of the character.
  • Multimedia elements (e.g., text, illustrations, animations, audio and sound effects) are used to make the lessons more engaging to learners.
  • E-Quizzes

    CE-Learning's E-Quizzes are interactive exercise sets aimed at testing the student's mastery of his/her lessons. These ready-made electronic quizzes are based on textbooks aligned with the Basic Education Curriculum of the Department of Education (DepEd). E-Quizzes uses multimedia elements (such as text, graphics, audio and sound effects) to make tests more enjoyable for students.

  • Navigation and function buttons such as Next, Back, Clear, Exit, Check Answer, and Volume.
  • Annotation tools such as Pen, Marker, Eraser, Text, Zoom, etc.
  • A built-in performance tracking system that records the student's scores in the e-quizzes that he/she has taken. Students and teachers also have the option of printing out the scores.
  • A unique and individual account for each student.
  • E-Lessons

    CE-Learning's E-Lessons are full-length presentations of lessons based on textbooks aligned with DepEd's Basic Education Curriculum. E-Lessons use multimedia elements such as text, graphics, animations, audio and music to engage the students and help them understand the lessons better.

  • yTeach

    CE-Learning's yTeach is a Content Management System (CMS) that offers thousands of educational resources in Secondary Mathematics and Science. Such instructional materials are collectively called Universal Curriculum and vary in type: Class Activity, Whiteboard Presentation, Student Activity, Whiteboard Exercise, Animation, Slideshow, Simulation, Illustration, and Game.

  • Lessons utilize multimedia elements such as illustrations, videos, animations, simulations, and even games to help students fully grasp the concepts being discussed.
