Richard Glenmor Beynon, professionally known by his stage name BYNON, is a British-Canadian music producer and DJ.

Early life

The clarinet player turned DJ/Producer comes from a family of musicians hailing from South Wales (U.K.) but was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. Educated at the Langley Fine Arts School, Juilliard School ,and McGill University, Montreal, he was inspired to play guitar, bass, keyboards, piano and drums before becoming a top clarinet player. Performing with the Surrey Youth Orchestra, the Vancouver Summer Pop Youth Orchestra and winning gold at the Kiwanis International Fraser Valley Music Festival. Collaborating with his father, BYNON arranged and produced three very successful albums featuring many genres of music including classical, jazz and pop and his vast knowledge and brilliant, natural creativity has enabled him to pursue music production by merging classical jazz with today's electronic revolution.

Musical career

BYNON jumped onto the electronic music scene with a bang ever since he started production in early 2009. With several releases hitting the Beatport charts, BYNON got the attention of world renowned dj-producer Paul Oakenfold. His first massive single "Close to you" came out in 2011 on Oakenfold's legendary label Perfecto Records. He has since then collaborated with many artists including Starkillers for the singles 'Rampage', 'What Does Tomorrow Bring' , 'Keep Pushing' and Project 46 in their 2014 release called 'Eyes'.

Personal life

BYNON currently resides in both Montreal and Los Angeles. He holds a residency at the SLS Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
