Butlocks Heath is a village in the district of Eastleigh in Hampshire, England. The village is about 3 miles (5 km) south-east of the centre of Southampton. It is in the Civil Parish of Hound (where the population is included), which also includes the villages of Netley Abbey and Old Netley. The village is just outside the village of Netley. Netley has grown and almost joins Butlocks Heath, but a small area of woodland called The Bunney separates the two. They are both less than a mile outside the city boundary of Southampton; the parish is part of the borough of Eastleigh. Woolston Road forms the backbone of the village, with residential cul-de-sacs branching off it. Along Woolston Road are two pubs, The Cottage Inn Pub and The Roll Call. Also on Woolston Road is a residential care home for vulnerable adults.
