Burt Grinstead is an American actor. He is best known for Written By (2016), Eat with Me (2014) and the web series Burt Paxton: Private Detective (2014-2015).

Early life
Grinstead spent most of his childhood in the small town of Capon Springs, West Virginia where he attended Capon Springs Resort and played golf and ping pong. As a child, his family spent some time living in Massachusetts. It was during that time that Grinstead began acting in commercials. He later trained as an actor at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
Career
Grinstead is likely best known for the comedic web series Burt Paxton: Private Detective, in which he stars as Burt Paxton, an inept Los Angeles detective. In 2015, he was nominated for Best Male Actor in a Comedy for this role.
Grinstead's first feature length film appearance was a supporting role in Eat with Me (2014), a romantic comedy starring George Takei and Sharon Omi. In 2014 and 2015, he had supporting roles in the films Sebastian and Better Half. Grinstead is scheduled to star in Death Race 2050, the sequel to the cult film Death Race 2000 (1975), which is slated for 2016.
