The Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service) is an agency of the United States federal government whose mission is to promote the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the U.S. government through exceptional accounting, financing, collections, payments, and shared services. Their vision is to help transform financial management and delivery of shared services in the federal government. They collaborate with and help other government organizations raise the level of their performance.

The Fiscal Service replaced the Bureau of the Public Debt and the Financial Management Service effective October 7, 2012 per directive of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

The Bureau manages the government's accounting, central payment systems, and public debt.
