Buddleja davidii 'Darent Valley' is a British cultivar, raised by Gerald Roberts of Sutton-at-Hone, near Dartford, Kent. Recently introduced to commerce, 'Darent Valley' was accorded the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (record 9298) in 2012 after it was adjudged the best of the eight white-flowering entrants in the RHS trials at Wisley. Description

'Darent Valley' grows to a height and breadth of 2 × 2 m, its upright shoots bearing a profusion of long white panicles.

Cultivation

'Darent Valley' is not known (2013) to be in cultivation beyond the UK. A specimen is grown as part of the NCCPG national buddleja collection held by the Longstock Park Nursery near Stockbridge, Hampshire. Hardiness: RHS H5, USDA zones 6–9.
