Christian M. Ringle is a professor of management at the Hamburg University of Technology, and a visiting professor at the University of Newcastle in Newcastle, Australia. He is one of the authors of SmartPLS, a Java-based software package for variance-based structural equation modeling using the partial least squares path modeling method.:4
