Buddleja × farquharii was an American hybrid raised by the R & J Farquhar Company, Dedham, Massachusetts circa 1916 from a crossing of B. asiatica and B. officinalis.[1] The plant was claimed to be the first artificial hybrid within the genus. [2]

Description
Buddleja × farquharii was a tender winter flowering (Dec.–Jan.) shrub intended for the greenhouse or conservatory, producing panicles of fragrant pale pink flowers.
Cultivation
The shrub is not known to remain in cultivation; the Farquhar nursery closed circa 1930.
