Bryan Murrell (birth registered July→September 1955 (age 61–62)) born in Leeds district, is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s, and 1980s, playing at club level for Leeds, and Hunslet, as a fullback, i.e. number 1, he was a pupil at Stainbeck High School.

Bryan Murrell played fullback in Leeds' 16-7 victory over Widnes in the 1977 Challenge Cup Final during the 1976–77 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 7 May 1977, in front of a crowd of 80,871.
