Education
Brooke graduated in Photography at Appalachian State University in North Carolina, then the University of Western Sydney, Australia.
Career
After graduating, she moved to NYC and worked with portrait and dance photographers Joyce Tenneson and Lois Greenfield.
She established her company Brooke Mayo Photography, Inc. in 2003.

Personal life
Mayo married John Wright in 2007. She has a daughter and lives in Currituck County.
