History

Since the foundation of the British School of Amsterdam in 1978, the school has grown in size from a very small primary school of 10 children to a school for children of all ages, with more than 550 pupils at the ISI School Inspection of February 2003.

When the school was founded it was housed in a section of a Dutch primary school in the south of Amsterdam.
