Brittany "Brit" Morin (born December 6, 1985) is an American entrepreneur, author, and Founder & CEO of Brit + Co, a media company based in San Francisco. Morin is a regular DIY and lifestyle contributor to NBC’s TODAY show, Rachael Ray, Steve Harvey, CNN, CNBC, BBC, Yahoo!, and The Huffington Post. Morin has served as a spokesperson for Target, 3M/Scotch, Uniqlo, and Johnson & Johnson. Her first book, Homemakers: A Domestic Handbook for Digital Generation, was published in March 2015 and was a bestseller.

Brit morin on why making matters
Early life and education

Morin was born in San Antonio, Texas. She studied business and communications at the University of Texas at Austin.
Career

After graduation, Morin moved to Silicon Valley. She worked at Apple on iTunes and later spent four years at Google, where she helped launch projects such as Google TV, Google Maps, Google Search, and iGoogle.

In 2011, at age 25, Morin left Google to start Brit + Co, which has since become one of the largest digital media companies for women with an engaged community of over 125 million online and across platforms. Morin currently serves as Founder & CEO.
Brit + Co seeks to educate, inspire, inform, and entertain its community both online and offline. The company has more than 100 full-time employees and a network of hundreds of contributors. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and has an office in New York City.

Morin is married to Dave Morin, co-founder of the social network Path. They live in the San Francisco Bay Area with their two children.
