Brilyov Sergey Vladimirovich (born April 5, 1974 – Kiev) is a Ukrainian sculptor.

Biography

Vladimirovich studied at the Republican Art School from 1986 to 1992, and at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture from 1992 to 1998. From 1998 to 2001 he gained a Master's degree in sculpture. In 1195 he was a member of the youth association, Kyiv National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He joined the National Union of Artists of Ukraine in 2000. He exhibited work at the Kyiv Sculpture Triennale in 1999, 2000, 2005 and 2008. He has also participated in more than 40 group exhibitions.

Work

Since 2001 Vladimirovich has been professor of the Kiev State Institute of Decorative and Applied Art and Design. From 2009 to 2012 he was chairman of the youth association Kyiv National Union of Artists of Ukraine, and from 2010 to 2013 he was vice-chairman of the Kyiv National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Honors

Awarded the scholarship for young people talented measure of Kiev in 2002 for his contributions to the city development. In 2003 he received the letter of the Minister of Culture of Ukraine for personal contribution to the art of Ukrainian development.
