Brickworks Group Representation Constituency (Traditional Chinese: 磚廠集選區; Simplified Chinese: 砖厂集选区) is a defunct Group Representation Constituency in Bukit Merah and Queenstown, Singapore from 1988 to 1997.

Etymology

In the early days of Singapore, there was a brick factory in the Bukit Merah (Alexandra) areas and hence the name. One of the notable place in that area includes the ABC Brickworks Hawker Centre where it has different delicacies to offer, located in Jalan Bukit Merah.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Brickworks - The entire Brickworks and Dover HDB estates, Jalan Rumah Tinggi, Lengkok Bahru (except Lengkok Bahru estate), most of Stirling Road HDB estate (including Mei Ling Street, Mei Chin Road and Queen's Close, Pasir Panjang and Blk 349-365 of Clementi, excluding Blk 165-175 of Stirling Road.
  • Queenstown - Margaret Drive, Strathmore Avenue, most HDB flats at Dawson Road (excluding the eastern portion), Forfar House and Commonwealth (including Commonwealth Close, Drive and Crescent).
  • Clementi - Pine Grove HUDC estate and the rest of Clementi (Blks 101-118, 321-348 & 426-453), excluding Blks 201-206 & 301-320.
  • West Coast - West Coast estate (Clementi Neighbourhoods 6 & 7) and West Coast Park, excluding Blks 501-520 and the West Coast private estate.
