Brian Mayes (born 11 April 1950) is a former English cricketer. Mayes was a right-handed batsman who bowled leg break googly. He was born in Margate, Kent and educated at Ipswich School.

Mayes made his debut for Suffolk in the 1969 Minor Counties Championship against Buckinghamshire. Mayes played Minor counties cricket infrequently for Suffolk from 1969 to 1980, which included 16 Minor Counties Championship appearances. He made his only List A appearance against Sussex in the 1980 Gillette Cup. In this match, he scored 13 unbeaten runs and bowled a single over which cost 6 runs.

His father, Dicky Mayes, played first-class cricket for Kent.
