Brent Housing Partnership (BHP) is an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) company that looks after 13,600 properties for Brent Council in North West London. Although BHP is owned by the Council it is run as a separate organisation at 'arms length'. BHP’s head office is based at Brent Civic Centre which it shares with Brent Council. There is also a housing office based in South Kilburn for the large number of residents who are based in the area.

Management
BHP is managed by a board consisting of residents, councillors and independents. The board meets every two months and all meetings are open to the public. BHP is responsible to keep communal areas clean, look after gardens, carry out repairs, service gas installations, collect rent and manage problems between neighbours.
Service objectives
Brent Housing Partnership's primary goal is to provide an excellent housing management service to all service users. These include promoting regeneration in priority neighbourhoods, reducing crime and promoting community safety, and supporting the Government’s green agenda by improving the quality of the environment.
Star ratings
In 2003 BHP was given the highest possible three star rating by the Audit Commission. BHP was set up to improve the borough's council housing stock through the government's Decent Homes programme. BHP is first ALMO set to buy council property. This follows a landmark decision by members of Brent's Executive in December 2008 to invest in South Kilburn, a flagship development of new homes in Brent.
