Bratz: Genie Magic is a 2006 Bratz direct-to-DVD film. It is the third movie based on the Bratz brand, following Bratz: Starrin & Stylin and Bratz: Rock Angelz. It is the second CGI film for the brand. The film acts as a continuation of Bratz Rock Angelz, as the Bratz are seen performing as a band in the opening sequence.

Plot
Cloe, Jade, Yasmin, and Sasha befriend Katia, a new student at Styles High. The girls soon find that Katia is really a misunderstood genie who has been locked away under the control of con artists Con and Zel for years. The con artists manipulate Katia into using her powers for what she believes is good, but proves to be the very opposite. With a crumbling father-daughter relationship and a growing curiosity for the outside world, Katia’s one wish for herself is to be a normal girl. Zealous to grant wishes and experience life as one of the Bratz, Katia encounters trouble. The girls learn the consequences of magic when Katia comes to them to help her put an end to Con and Zel’s scheme, and also learn to value friendship.

As with all Bratz films, a collection of tied merchandise and promotional items was released to accompany the film. The Genie Magic line includes a set of dolls, and the following products:
A soundtrack entitled Bratz: Genie Magic Soundtrack also accompanies the movie, which includes songs from the Genie Magic movie and the Bratz television series.
Sequel: Bratz Desert Jewelz
The sequel was delayed due to the court battle between MGA Entertainment and Mattel, causing it to be released in 2012. This is six years after the first movie. The movie was originally meant to be released in 2009, and was leaked online that year. All voice actors were switched except for Tara Strong who returned to voice her character, Katia.
