Fake Your Space

Fake Your Space was a website launched in 2006 that was designed to allow social media users to appear more popular by adding profiles featuring photos of attractive people taken from IStockPhoto. Users would pay a monthly fee of 99 cents and would receive friend requests and comments from accounts that Walker set up. The site was temporarily closed in early 2007 after IStockPhoto objected to the use of the images, stating that "its licensing agreement did not allow Web sites to post photos that might lead the average person to “think that the model endorses” the product, Web site or person in question."

Rotten Neighbor

RottenNeighbor.com was a website launched in July 2007 that allowed users to post and search for information about potential and current neighbors before moving. Walker stated that he developed the site after having conflicts with his own neighbors. The website was met with controversy over concerns of names or false claims being posted to the website and fears of the website harming or impeding home sales.
