Brad Smith (born October 9, 1968) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes full-time in the ARCA Racing Series, driving the No. 48 Ford Fusion for James Hylton Motorsports.

Talladega crash

During the 2015 ARCA 200 at Talladega, Austin Wayne Self spun in the tri-oval, and collected Smith's Radon.com Ford. Smith's car slammed the outside wall, and then slid toward the inside wall. Just before impact, Smith's car hit a dip in the track and the front end shot off the ground. After impact with the inside wall, while still running at over 100 mph, the car ignited into flames sliding up in turns 1 and 2 before rolling to a stop in the infield. He fractured both of his ankles and was replaced by James Swanson for the remainder of the season. Smith returned to Hylton's team for the majority of the 2016 season. Smith scored his first career top 10 points finish in 2016, coming in 6th.
