Distribution and habitat
Most species of Brachyscome angustifolia are found in Australia, but there are a few species in New Zealand, and two in Papua New Guinea. It grows in sunny areas with moist soil or a light shade, and is found in a wide variety of landscapes.
Description
Brachyscome angustifolia is a species of daisy. The flower is a perennial plant, meaning that it stays alive for two years. It can reach 300 millimetres (12 in) in height. The linear pedals are pink or mauve, and can be 50 millimetres (2.0 in) long. The flower head is 15–20 millimetres (0.59–0.79 in) in diameter, and supported by thin stalks that have no leaves.
