Brønshøj BK, full name Brønshøj Boldklub is a Danish football club located in the outskirts of Copenhagen. Brønshøj BK has continuously been a part of the Danish league system ever since, mostly appearing in the two lower leagues (divisions).

Contents

The team had short spells in the highest division (then called 1. division) in the early 1960s and the early 1970s, and in those periods about half a dozen players made it to the Danish national team.

Brønshøj Boldklubs golden era came about in the middle of the 1980s, when two consecutive promotions saw them a place in the 1. division. The culmination came in the season of 1984 under the guidance of manager Ebbe Skovdahl, when the team finished in 5th place, the clubs all-time highest. The club was relegated in 1989, and has not since then been represented in the highest league.

Brønshøj Boldklub is currently participating in the 3rd tier after relegation in 2015.

Brønshøj BK has only one known ultra group, Brønshøj Drunken Army, a nominally left-wing and anti-racist firm that supports the team standing up throughout the match with chants, songs and dance.
