Boxville Township was organized in 1884, and named for William N. Box, an early settler.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 8.4 square miles (22 km2), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 31 people, 17 households, and 12 families residing in the township. The population density was 3.7 people per square mile (1.4/km²). There were 19 housing units at an average density of 2.3/sq mi (0.9/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.
