Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Bosnian entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by the Bosnian broadcaster BHRT. Maya Sar represented Bosnia and Herzegovina with the song "Korake ti znam", which qualified from the second semi-final and went on to place 18th in the final, scoring 55 points.

Internal selection
On 15 December 2011, BHRT announced that Maya Sar had been internally selected to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina. On 15 February 2012, BHRT revealed that "Korake ti znam" (I Know Your Steps) would be the song Maya Sar would perform in Baku. On 15 March, BHRT aired a television special where "Korake ti znam" was officially presented to the public along with the music video for the song.
At Eurovision
Bosnia and Herzegovina competed in the second half of the second semi-final (17th on stage), on 24 May 2012, following Norway and preceding the Lithuania. Maya Sar received 77 points and placed 6th, thus qualifying for the final on 26 May.
In the final, Bosnia and Herzegovina was drawn to perform 5th, after Lithuania and preceding Russia. The Bosnian entry scored a total of 55 points and placed 18th in the final.
