Boomerang Europe, Middle East and Africa (also referred as Boomerang Africa or Boomerang Middle East and North Africa) is a television channel which used to air classic cartoons, but now features more modern cartoons. This is a version of the Boomerang channel which is broadcast in the Arab world, Africa, Greece, and Cyprus. All Boomerang programs which feature spoken dialogue are available in English, Arabic and Greek. The Greek audio track for Boomerang EMEA was launched in October 2011 for all programs with spoken dialogue.

On 1 July 2016, the channel was split into Boomerang Africa and Boomerang MENA; the latter channel airs with an Arabic audio track on beIN, and is also the version used in most of Greece and Cyprus.
History
The channel was launched on 5 June 2005 as a channel for EMEA territories which did not have a Boomerang feed, with some shows dubbed into Greek for Greece and Cyprus, as well as Polish and Hungarian for Poland and Hungary, respectively.
The African website is BoomerangTVAfrica.com, which was launched in 2010.
In October 2010, the channel also started to broadcast certain shows in Romanian.
On 12 October 2011, the Central and Eastern Europe feed (Poland, Hungary, Romania and Russia) was separated from the pan-European feed with its own schedule (see Boomerang (CEE)). From that point onwards, a preschool block called Cartoonito was added to both feeds; the block was later removed from the feeds.
However, the Netherlands (and the Flanders region of Belgium), Portugal, Arab world, Africa, Greece and Cyprus (including some operators in the Czech Republic) continued to carry the pan-European version of the channel.
The channel was available in Portugal until 31 December 2013, when it was removed due to the launch of the Portuguese feed of Cartoon Network.
On 1 November 2014, all TV operators in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic began airing the CEE version of the channel instead, leaving Greece and Cyprus as the only European countries where the channel is broadcast. In the Netherlands (and the Flanders region of Belgium) however, this was only a temporary measure, since a fully localized version of the channel would be launched soon.
On 1 July 2016, the formerly pan-European Boomerang feed was split into Boomerang MENA and Boomerang Africa, with the MENA version available on beIN with an Arabic audio track for all programs with spoken dialogue. The MENA version has also replaced the Africa version on TV operators in Greece and Cyprus. The MENA version has a separate schedule and uses censorship on some programs not found on the African version.
