Biography
Leonard was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She attended Oakland University, also in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Bonnie began writing as a child, filling volumes of spiral notebooks. In her mid twenties, Bonnie began work on a yet unreleased high fantasy trilogy "The Way of the South", and while waiting for the completion of editing, penned The Defiled and the Second Son. Currently, Leonard lives with her husband and children in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Works
Her first novel, The Defiled and the Second Son, was published in 2016. This indie novel is the story of several alien beings on earth circa 2015 in a fantasy romance plot. As the plot moves forward the setting transitions to an alien world planet with a society of winged ‘Legitimate’ and ‘Defiled’ beings. Protagonist character Elan Tempers is both enthralled and confounded by perceived antagonist character River Jamison.
Bonnie’s yet unreleased High Fantasy trilogy is being written (2016).
