The song, produced by Cashmere Cat and melody created by Stargate, features a hook performed by American singer Usher and background vocals by American singer Tinashe.
Background
In a 2015 interview, Kid Ink stated that "Body Language" was one of the first records recorded for the album and was made for the purpose of being a radio single.
Music video
The accompanying music video for the track was directed by Darren Craig and filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. It was released on October 27, 2014.
