Bobbi Lancaster (born Robert Lancaster) is the first transgender golfer who played in the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour.

Early life

Robert Lancaster grew up in Canada, in a southern Ontario farming community of Ridgetown. His father was a World War II paratrooper, who is also an accountant, helped organized tournaments at Ridgetown Golf and Curling Club. That was when Robert Lancaster started liking golf.

Struggles

Lancaster was struggling throughout her life. She had suicidal thoughts. She also was looked upon from other players on the field because she stood out as 6 feet tall and as 63 years old.
